accsyn v3 released

We are very proud to announce the final release and complete roll out of accsyn v3 – which apart from a revamped web browser driven File Delivery system also offers Media Vault capabilities and professional media Lab Services

Streamlined file deliveries

With v3, file deliveries are now 100% driven from the web browser, using the accsyn Desktop app in the background with fallback on browser download. Also, a new upload engine has been engineered featuring multithreaded and resumable file uploads in the web browser. All fronted by a brand new web application designed to be easy to use both for recipients and operators.

Cloud hosted storage

With accsyn v3, we now offer cloud hosted storage at a very competitive price level. New trials will start on the cloud storage and can later be migrated to an enterprise BYOS storage configuration.

Upload requests

New in v3 are upload requests – send a link to recipients which they can use to upload material that you then are able download afterwards. Either upload to a temp are or request upload to a folder on your persistent accsyn cloud or BYOS storage.

File Collections

With file collections you can create a virtual shared folder containing files and folders collected from all over an accsyn volume – a smart way to share files leaving them in place.

SSO with Google login

With accsyn v3, you can now login with third party providers such as Google. The desktop app now support switching between workspaces using the new accsyn SSO engine, without interrupting ongoing file transfers.

Javascript API

Utilise stable accsyn app or browser accelerated download/upload in your own web application / workflow, through the new Javascript API featured in v3.

Automated deliveries

Users can now install accsyn as a daemon running in the background, enabling unattended deliveries 24/7 from anywhere. Ties in with the file sharing mechanism when shares are mapped locally.
