WHAT IS ACCSYN?

accsyn is a SaaS BYOS solution facilitating accelerated, secure and programmable P2P file transfers with your remote offices, cloud endpoints, employees, vendors and clients.

Think of it as an advanced SFTP server with additional features such as API support, scripting, hooks, file package deliveries, folder sharing with ACLs, multi-site support, publishing of material into your production system and render farm management.

Choose from submitting and monitor file transfers using our intuitive desktop app, Python API, CLI or mobile friendly web app.

SECURE

Transfers are AES-128/256 encrypted backed by SOCII compliant authorisation backend Auth0 by Okta.

No network services are listening 24/7 for incoming connections. During transfer establish, a software firewalled server is launched for a short moment utilising PSK authentication to verify the identity of the client.

No files are stored in the cloud, file content are confined to storage controlled by you and no one else.

REMOTE ENDPOINTS

Setup accsyn remotely to serve an entire volume, or have a user map one or more shares locally to enable 24/7 delivery workflows and collaboration with vendors and clients.

Our desktop application are available on Windows, Mac and Linux, facilitating a streamlined interface for interacting with your file deliveries and shares.

accsyn can also be installed as a background service, enabling push and pull of file content to local mapped shares on your remote user machines.

WEB BROWSER DELIVERIES

The additional web delivery feature allows for streamlined delivery of file packages and file sharing through the web browser.

User receives a link, that can be password protected, enabling quick and easy access to your file content without needing to download the accsyn desktop app.

RENDER FARM

Have accsyn queue up and execute render jobs, supporting popular renderers and transcoders such as Blender, FFMpeg, V-ray, Unreal pixelstream and many more.

Based on highly customisable Python wrapper scripts for each renderer, available open source and open for contribution. Mix render jobs with file transfer workflow to enable a render farm spanning over multiple sites or even utilise workstations deployed at home.

Filmlance

Filmlance is a well recognised Swedish production company within film and TV, handling everything from shoot to final post production.

After a brief period of testing, accsyn quickly became our go-to solution for pretty much all of our file transfers. Previously we relied on a mixed bag of solutions and fragile duct taped hacks. Today we exclusively use accsyn for transferring media from on-set to our NAS.

By using the Python API our pipeline developer have tightly integrated accsyn into our VFX pipeline, making it the backbone for all transfers to and from artists around the globe.

The built in verification and the high resilience nature of it not only saves us time during transfer but also in QC and administration.

It has gone so far that if we suggest some other method of delivery to our clients they have started to ask for accsyn instead, for example our editors can sync material from the Avid Nexis down to their setup at home or when out traveling - well tested in northern Sweden, in Italy, in UK and in the USA.

Filmgate Films

It all started at Filmgate Films in the mid 10’s as their frustration with the deployed FTP solution grew out of hand.


accsyn were developed with one goal in mind - enable an advanced VFX facility to operate all file transfers through one single application, facilitating automated file transfers that integrate seamlessly with their other production tools.


At Filmgate, accsyn:

Goodbye Kansas

Goodbye Kansas is Sweden’s largest VFX vendor within game cinematics, TV and feature film production.


Instead of developing their own proprietary file sync solution, they put all the heaving lifting of syncing files between their global offices and their cloud infrastructure to accsyn.


Many years later, accsyn has proven being a incredibly sturdy and reliable workhorse, not leaving a single corrupt file behind or missing out on delicate project priorities.

FyraK Media

FyraK Media is one of Sweden's most recognized specialists on DCP authoring and distribution with headquarters just outside Stockholm.

After many years struggling with high costs, limited feature sets and poor support, they decided to switch over to accsyn for handling all file deliveries.


At FyraK Media, accsyn is deployed to:
